I have taught POLS1101 American Government (undergraduate-level) discussion sections for three years at the University of Georgia, and I have consistently received excellent student evaluations (with an average rating of 4.47 out of 5.0 in recent years).

Selected quotes:

“I thought that Casey Kim was an excellent instructor. He really seemed to know the material and care about students' learning experience. He taught the course well and kept the class engaged with an occasional lighthearted joke. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and left feeling like I understood the material that was covered.”

“I loved taking this breakout with Casey! He was a great teacher and I really enjoyed his teaching style as well as his honesty and transparency when it came to this course.”

“I enjoyed the breakout session for POLS1101 very much, and I felt as if it was an open discussion environment that was effective for learning.”

“I loved Mr. Kim! He was so well educated and you could tell that he enjoyed teaching.”

In addition, I have conducted “AI and Government” classes for Korean government officials several times as part of their career development training (MPA-level) at the University of Georgia.

Prior to pursuing my doctoral career at the University of Georgia, I also held the position of a teaching assistant at Konkuk University in Seoul, Korea, for several undergraduate-level courses. These courses included Social Research Methods, Introduction to the Study of Public Administration, and Public Management Theory & Practice.

I feel comfortable and am interested in teaching courses such as American Government, Introduction to Public Administration, Public Administration and Democracy, Public Management, Organizational Theory, Policy Process, and Policy Implementation. Additionally, I am willing to teach AI Governance, a course that provides comprehensive theoretical and practical insights into human-AI interaction, organizational impacts, and their implications for governance.
